This is how you can add your custom OEM information to your computer's properties.
Things you must know:
1. You must save a BMP picture (100x100 pixels preferred) in C:\windows\system32\.
2. The location in the Registry where you must add new keys is "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Current Version \ OEMInformation".
3. The new key names are "Logo" where you put the address of the saved image (ex: C:\windows\system32\[anyname].BMP) and "Manufacturer" where you write anything you want.
!Caution! Registry editing is dangerous for your computer. Please review this tutorial a couple of times so you can be sure you're doing it right!
In the video I created the registry key "Logo" first with a path and a name for the file, so when i saved the picture from Paint I had to use the exact same path and name! They are not mandatory, but adviced!

Windows Vista comes with a feature called "indexing service" which improves desktop search. It searches your computer a lot faster, but there's a down side. A good searching software indexes files or emails only when your computer is idle, but not this one.
So if you use an alternative software like "Google Desktop Search" or if you don't use it often, we recommend that you disable it for good to improve perfomance. This is how you do it.

This will help you prevent Windows Defender from starting up. You can stop it !!!ONLY IF YOU HAVE SOME ALTERNATIVE ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE!!! like Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky etc. We recommend Norton 360, nice piece of protection software, you can give it a try - see the left menu with our recommended software. But if you do have some alternative, the Windows Defender is practically unuseful, it just takes up resources.
To open up the services list just hit Win key + R which brings up the Run menu, then type in "services.msc".
