This is how you can add your custom OEM information to your computer's properties.

Things you must know:
1. You must save a BMP picture (100x100 pixels preferred) in C:\windows\system32\.
2. The location in the Registry where you must add new keys is "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Current Version \ OEMInformation".
3. The new key names are "Logo" where you put the address of the saved image (ex: C:\windows\system32\[anyname].BMP) and "Manufacturer" where you write anything you want.

!Caution! Registry editing is dangerous for your computer. Please review this tutorial a couple of times so you can be sure you're doing it right!

In the video I created the registry key "Logo" first with a path and a name for the file, so when i saved the picture from Paint I had to use the exact same path and name! They are not mandatory, but adviced!

There is an accessory program called the Private Character Editor included with Windows XP that is quite obscure and little-known. It is used in conjunction with the Character Map previously discussed and provides a way to create your own characters.

The program is not usually listed in the Start- All Programs menu. The program file is eudcedit.exe and is in the system folder "C:\Windows\System32\". (Incidentally, EUDC stands for "end user defined characters").
